David joined the firm in 1987 and qualified as a Chartered Certified Accountant in May 1996. After progressing from accounts junior to client manager he was appointed director of the firm in January 2004.
David has over 30 years of experience, developing long term client relationships and is able to advise on all aspects of tax planning in addition to dealing with accounts compliance work for small to medium sized businesses.
In 2010 David joined the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales via the Pathways to Membership scheme.
After 7 years at a medium sized accountancy firm as a secretary Teresa took the challenge to transfer to General Practice and train as an Accountant.
After 2 years she felt the need move to a role which was more client supporting whilst also expanding on her tax and accounting knowledge and therefore made the move to Read & Co where she has progressed from Accounts Senior to Manager.
Teresa has played a significant role within the company making the migration from manual/Excel records to Cloud Based Software having a solid knowledge of Xero, QuickBooks Online and Kashflow.
